D-Link International, one of the world’s biggest suppliers of network products, unveils the newest members of their Unified Access Wired/Wireless Switching solution (DWS-3024, DWS-3026 and DWA-3500AP, DWA-8500AP). The DWS-3024/3026 wireless switches enable users to centrally control multiple access points (DWL-3500AP/8500AP) at the same time, which makes the deployment and management of access points more efficient. Both the DWS-3024 and DWS-3026 L2+ PoE WLAN switches offer a 24-gigabit port with four combo SFP while the DWS-3026 has two additional open slots for optional 10GE modules. The DWL-3500AP access point is compatible with IEEE 802.11b/g standards while DWL-8500AP offers IEEE 802.11a/b/g wireless connection.
